Webus International Limited, a global mobility company offering artificial intelligence support services, has taken an important step in its digital asset treasury strategy.

The company announced that it has signed a Delegated Digital Asset Management Agreement with registered senior investment advisor Samara Alpha Management with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for the management of up to $300 million worth of XRP.

Under the agreement, Samara Alpha will be the sole authorized manager of Webus regarding digital assets. The authority limit has been set at 300 million USD. This strategic structure aims to provide enterprise-level infrastructure and expertise for future digital asset operations, particularly in the area of XRP-focused treasury management.

However, the agreement is designed to come into effect gradually. The management authority will only become active when Webus makes a transfer of digital assets to the designated custody wallets. As of this announcement, no asset transfers have been made and investment activities have not been initiated.

Webus CEO Nan Zheng made the following statement regarding the matter:
