The pound fell to a three-week low against the dollar ahead of the Central Bank of England Interest Rate decision.

The pound fell to a three-week low against the dollar, leading the fall in G-10 currencies, ahead of the Central Bank of England's Intrerest Rate decision. The pound fell 0.5% to 1.2790 intraday, its lowest level since July 10. Traders currently believe there is about a 60% chance that the Central Bank of England will cut interest rates by 25 basis points later today.
