According to official sources, Chiliz, a sports blockchain provider, has announced that the Dragon8 hard fork on Chiliz Chain has been launched and introduced a complex new token economic model. Tokenomics 2.0 features a structured annual inflation rate starting at 8.80% and gradually decreasing and stabilizing at 1.88% after approximately 14 years. One key component is the transaction fee destruction mechanism, which aims to provide a balanced incentive structure.
